United in Song Music Competition

This is a Christ-centered music competition designed to highlight gifted songwriters, soloists, and bands. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how the competition works and how to participate. This competition is only for those on the Space & Treasure Coast in Florida.

Step 1: Submit Your Song

• All entries must be original songs.
• Only family-friendly, Christ-centered songs will be accepted.
• Both solo artists and groups are welcome.
• Submit your video recording through www.christianfm.com/unitedinsong
• Your submission must be a video performance and not just an mp3 recording
• Fees: Soloist $50, Group $100 (fees are non-refundable)
• Deadline for entries: January 21, 2026.

Step 2: Judges’ Round

• Our panel of judges will review all submissions.
• Judging criteria include: originality, lyrics, Christ-centered message,
  musicality, performance quality, and overall impact.
• The judges will narrow down the entries to the Top 6 Finalists.

Step 3: Community Vote on Facebook

• The Top 6 Finalists will be posted on our Christian FM Facebook page.
• The public will have the chance to vote by liking and sharing their favorite
  performances.
• Voting will remain open through February 20, 2026.
• At the end of this round, the Top 3 Finalists will be announced and notified via email on Monday, February 23rd.
• The finalist or a representative, above the age of 18, must be present at the finals on Saturday, February 28th.

Step 4: Live Event Finale

• The Top 3 Finalists will have their videos played in a continuous loop at
  Christian FM’s Community Connection Expo on Saturday, February 28^th.
• Audience members at the event will cast their votes using the Christian FM app (1 vote per user).
• The United in Song Winner will be announced at the end of the event.

Prizes

• Winner: $500 Visa Gift Card
• Runner-Up: $250 Visa Gift Card
• All finalists will receive recognition on stage and across our social media
  platforms.
• The winner’s video will be shared with Christian record labels and those running Rock the Universe.

United in Song 2026 Competition Rules

Christian FM is excited to announce the return of United in Song — a celebration of local musical talent and Christ-centered creativity! Now through January 21, 2026, solo artists and musical groups from across Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Brevard counties are invited to submit one video performance of an original song. The song must be written by the performing artist or a member of their group and should reflect a message that is both family-friendly and Christ-centered. Artists under the age of 18 are welcome to participate with parental permission. Videos should be recorded in the best quality possible — up to 4K resolution — and submitted online at www.christianfm.com/events/unitedinsong. By submitting a video, artists grant Christian FM permission to use their performance for social media or other promotional purposes. Each submission must include an entry fee — $50 for solo artists and $100 for groups — which is non-refundable and required for consideration. Once all submissions are received, a panel of judges will review each video carefully. Performances will be evaluated based on originality, lyrical content, Christ-centered message, musicality, performance quality, and overall impact. From these entries, the judges will select up to six semi-finalists. All judging decisions are final, although judges may choose to offer constructive feedback to help artists grow. The semi-finalist videos will then be shared on the Christian FM Facebook page, where the public will have the opportunity to cast their votes for their favorite performance. Each person may vote once, and voting will remain open through February 22, 2026. The three artists or groups receiving the most votes will move on to the final round. Their videos will be featured on-screen at the Christian FM Community Connection Expo on February 28, 2026, where event attendees will vote for their favorite using the Christian FM mobile app. Each person will be allowed one vote, and the results will be tallied live during the event. A representative from each finalist group must be present at the Expo, as the winner will be announced at the conclusion of the event. The artist or group receiving the most votes that day will be crowned the United in Song 2026 Champion and awarded a $500 Visa Gift Card. In addition, Christian FM will submit their video to select Christian record labels and the organizers of Rock the Universe for further exposure. The second-place winner will receive a $250 Visa Gift Card, and all three finalists will be recognized on stage and across Christian FM’s social media platforms. This is more than just a music competition — it’s a celebration of faith, creativity, and community.
